As bad as it sounds is it true? Are we all our own worst enemy. Our minds control everything from mood to outlook to even how we look and feel. So if we are constantly thinking negative worrisome thoughts does it actually reflect on our physical state? I believe so. Surround yourself with radiance and radiant thoughts and you will feel and look radiant yourself.

If this is a question for you then I’m sure you have found yourself asking “do I need…?” Whatever you find the question to be the fact that you are asking it shows that you may know the difference. Most people don’t. Strangely this is true because most people want what they don’t have or can’t have. Is this where determination comes from? The drive to get something you do not yet acquire? Or is this the reason why most of us are either in dept…or unhappy. Truth is once you figure out yourself and your life you can determine what you want and what you actually need very easily. Start small..if you are a shopaholic and you see something you feel you must absolutely have…stop…ask your self,
“Do I need this? Or do I want it?”
Most of the time the answer will be because you want it. In all honestly we as people do not need that much. Food, water, shelter, happiness, love (for oneself)…are the type of substance we “need”. Almost everything else falls into the “want” category. We “want” a bigger house…we “want” a nice car…we “want” and partner in life. But as soon as you realize that these are what they are which are “wants” and not “needs” the more free and happy you will feel. We all have the capability to live and survive without any of those subjects. Yes they are nice and perhaps drive our enthusiasm, but to the people that worsen their being by taking these things instead of earning them becomes very dangerous for your health. Dept can damage you in more ways than just your credit score. It can add stress and negative energy into your life and you realize that something you wanted that you got in the end did not benefit you in the long run. Isn’t the long run the whole point? And what about wanting a partner in life..do you need it? NO. Actually in this day in age more single people are thriving and evolving than those who are married. Yes having someone to spend life with is a gift, but it is a gift that you must let come to you on it’s own. The more you put yourself and your feelings out the more of a chance you have of getting hurt. There is no greater pain than heart ache, it is the pain that no doctor, or medicine, drugs, alcohol, or anything of this earth can cure. Heart ache takes time, patience and understanding. But if you had the chance to protect your self would you take it? That’s another subject for another topic. Bottom line…differ your wants and needs. Every time you see something that catches your eye STOP. Ask yourself…
“do I NEED It?”
I always kind of knew there was more to our DNA than what we have been told. The advances of technology and science is being able to more and more open our eyes to the truth about what all we consist of and how we can use this information.-Dlovski
Trying to learn all these different ways of hosting. Just downloaded the actual word press files and trying to install them. Plus I found this other plugin called “eXopin” Here is the site…
I’m sure most of you already know of this, but I am just so stomped on how to get everything installed and set up. I have no knowledge of html or web hosting or FTP. I find myself very frustrated and thinking just how the picture illustrates. Nevertheless I am determined to teach myself through Google. I today just want to express how easy it may be to self educate ourselves. we are the start of the generation internet and it is only expanding and overwhelming. By the time my children will be older I can only imagine how it would be. Already they are making programs possible to take high school online.
“Students instead of actually going to high school and learning from teachers are able to teach themselves?!”
I’m sure some view this as a head for disaster, but is it? Just like everything around us we are able to adapt and learn under new conditions through all the changes that come our way. If more people would take this chance and reverse statistics on how many students graduate the idea of self learning will not seem so scary. Its all in our mind that’s the saying…
“you are your own worst enemy”
…come from. Basically you are the only being that can control your outcomes of your actions ina positive or negative way. Positive being that we actually better ourself through this change and take full advantage of it, or, in a negative way that people use this resource as an excuse not to go to school period. If most of us would take the tools we have and make something of ourselves without teacher influence would we eventually become more independent and a society of smarter beings? The thing is this change has already been happening that the generations before this one all need to catch up. Because humans are not becoming “dumber”…but in fact shifting into a whole new way of life – Dlovski
This place is very mysterious and interesting. The story of the builder of this site is very heartbreaking. It is one of my favorite places I would love to visit and is considered somewhat the stone hedge of the US. The most important aspect that makes this place so mysterious is no one to this day has any idea how one man could of built this extraordinary place by himself and only worked at night without any audience. He build this place in the name of love and the woman ended up breaking his heart. He died alone but his masterpiece lives on. Any ideas on how he may have had this place built? I would love to hear some opinions. Please enjoy this remarkable story – Dlovski
Coral Castle is noted for legends surrounding its creation that claim it was built single-handedly by Leedskalnin using reverse magnetism and/or supernatural abilities to move and carve numerous stones weighing many tons
The grounds of Coral Castle consist of 1,100 short tons (1,000 t) of stones in the form of walls, carvings, furniture and a castle tower. Commonly referred to as being made up of coral, it is made of oolite, also known as ooliticlimestone. Oolite is a sedimentary rock composed of small spherical grains of concentrically layered carbonate that may include localized concentrations of fossil shells and coral. Oolite is found throughout southeastern Florida fromPalm Beach County to the Florida Keys. Oolite is often found beneath only several inches of topsoil, such as at the Coral Castle site.
The stones are fastened together without mortar. They are set on top of each other using their weight to keep them together. The craftsmanship detail is so skillful and the stones are connected with such precision that no light passes through the joints. The 8-foot (2.4 m) tall vertical stones that make up the perimeter wall have a uniform height. Even with the passage of decades and a direct hit on August 24, 1992, by the Category 5 Hurricane Andrew, the stones have not shifted.
According to the Coral Castle’s own promotional material, Edward Leedskalnin was jilted by his 16-year-old fiancée Agnes Scuffs in Latvia, just one day before the wedding. Leaving for America, he came down with allegedly terminaltuberculosis, but spontaneously healed, stating that magnets had some effect on his disease.
Edward spent over 28 years building the Coral Castle, refusing to allow anyone to view him while he worked. A few teenagers claimed to have witnessed his work, reporting that he had caused the blocks of coral to move like hydrogen balloons. The only tool that Leedskalnin spoke of using was a “perpetual motion holder.”
Leedskalnin originally built the castle, which he named Rock Gate Park, in Florida City, Florida around 1923. He purchased the land from Ruben Moser whose wife assisted him when he had a very bad bout with tuberculosis. Florida City, which borders the Everglades, is the southernmost city in the United States that is not on an island. It was an extremely remote location with very little development at the time. The castle remained in Florida City until about 1936 when Leedskalnin decided to move and take the castle with him to its final location on 28655 South Dixie Highway Miami, FL 33033. The Coral Castle website states that he chose to move in order to protect his privacy when discussion about developing land in the area of the castle started. He spent three years moving the Coral Castle structures 10 miles (16 km) north from Florida City to its current location in Homestead, Florida.
Leedskalnin continued to work on the castle up until his death in 1951. The coral pieces that are part of the newer castle, not among those transported from the original location, were quarried on the property only a few feet away from the southern wall.
